In a video shared by Maxwell on his Instagram story, he shows his room which is decked up welcoming the couple. He wrote,”Very thoughtful welcoming to our home for the next two months.” The bed is seen all decorated with balloons. Photo frames with pictures from their wedding are kept all around the room alongside a cake and a bottle of champagne.
Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell had tied the knot with his Indian origin fiancee Vini Raman, a fortnight ago in Australia. However the couple conducted the wedding rituals in Indian style in Chennai earlier this week.

The wedding card of Maxwell and Vini that was printed in Tamil also went viral on the Internet. The couple got engaged in 2020 just before the Covid-19 pandemic.

The 33-year old Australian all-rounder Maxwell was retained by RCB with a fee of Rs 11 crore ahead of the auction this year. He had a good season with the bat last year in the IPL scoring 513 runs in 15 matches with six half-centuries. He was RCB’s highest run-scorer and finished as the fifth highest run-scorer overall in that season.
He is all set to return to the playing XI for RCB’s next game against Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday, 5th April at the Wankhede Stadium. He is expected to replace Sherfane Rutherford in the team’s line-up.
