IPL 2022: MS Dhoni still amongst the fittest, spotted with family at airport as he leaves for Jaipur – Chennai Super Kings (CSK) fans were offered a glimpse of MS Dhoni late on Saturday after the paparazzi spotted the former Indian captain at the airport. Dhoni who leads a private life and seldom appears publicly was seen with his family, including his wife Sakshi Dhoni and daughter Ziva as they arrived at the airport in Mumbai. It was Dhoni’s first appearance since he signed the deal to be retained by the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auctions.

MS Dhoni looked in peak shape as he and his family checked in at the airport on Saturday. The former Indian captain, who last played for India at the 2019 World Cup, was seen exiting the car followed by his wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni and their daughter Ziva. Dhoni picked his backpack and hugged his friend who came to drop them before making an exit. As per the paparazzi, the CSK captain and his family are on their way to Jaipur to attend a big fat Indian wedding. Watch the video here:

CSK were pleased to see Dhoni at his fittest best and shared a picture of their captain on social media. In his 40s, Captain Cool is yet to hang his boots for the franchise and will continue to lead them in IPL 2022. CSK, with Dhoni at the helm, clinched their fourth title last year and will hope that he can build yet another successful squad with the team hitting the reset button with the IPL 2022 mega auction.
MS Dhoni (Rs 12 crore) was amongst the four retained by CSK ahead of the IPL 2022, with Ravindra Jadeja (Rs 16 crore), Moeen Ali (Rs 8 crore) and Ruturaj Gaikwad (Rs 6 crore). The former Indian captain was also part of the Indian team as a mentor, in the recently concluded T20 World Cup in the UAE.
