IPL 2022: CSK captain MS Dhoni and Sakshi took centre stage in a big fat Indian wedding in Jaipur on Saturday. Dhoni looked dapper in a suit while Sakshi opted to wear ethnic. Sakshi shared the pictures on social media on Sunday. The clicks show the couple full of smiles as they enjoy wedding function of former Civil Aviation minister and current AIFF chief Praful Patel’s son in Jaipur. According to his biopic: MS Dhoni The Untold Story, Dhoni & Sakshi met at a hotel after the 2007 T20 World Cup. The couple had got hitched in 2010 and have a daughter Ziva who was born during the 2015 World Cup. The couple had made headlines last month during the IPL 2021 Final that they are expecting their second baby. Dhoni had also taken out some quality time for a chai date with Sakshi. CSK captain MS Dhoni (Rs 12 crore) was amongst the four retained by CSK ahead of the IPL 2022, with Ravindra Jadeja (Rs 16 crore), Moeen Ali (Rs 8 crore) and Ruturaj Gaikwad (Rs 6 crore). He has hinted that he will play his final T20 in Chennai as questions loom over his full participation in IPL 2022. Dhoni accepted a pay cut for R Jadeja’s retention, the latter is expected to lead CSK in future.

Former India head coach Ravi Shastri was also part of the big fat Indian wedding in Jaipur and was full praises for “excellent” host Praful Patel. The 59-year-old gave his blessings to the newly-married couple.
