Washington Sundar has already proved himself on the big stage. However, his finger injury cut short his participation in IPL 2021 Phase 2 and ICC T20 World Cup. He remained away from cricket for months after getting ruled of India Tour of England but now looks all geared up to make an impact in IPL and keep himself in the fray for Team India comeback.
- Sundar has featured in 42 IPL matches and taken 27 wickets at a promising economy rate of 6.93.
- He possesses the ability to keep the run rate under control during the slog overs, posing a threat for batsmen to go for after the bowler, wait for death overs.
- Sundar also scored a couple of 30s knocks to remind everyone of his batting prowess.
- The 22-year-old has so far played 31 T20Is for India which will be a huge plus for the bidding IPL team.
