Yuzvendra Chahal Hat-Trick: How it all happened?

It was in the 17th over that Chahal began with the wicket of Venkatesh Iyer.
HAT-TRICK Ball 1: 16.4: Shreyas Iyer went for a big hit on the fuller-length delivery and missed the line and was trapped LBW.
HAT-TRICK Ball 2: 16.5: Shivam Mavi came to bat and he also tried go for a big but fell short in the long-on. Riyan Parag with an easy catch dismissed him.
HAT-TRICK Ball 2: 16.6: Pat Cummins came to the crease and faced full wrath of a wrist-spinner. The ball turned and Cummins edged it to Samson, who took a brilliant catch.

The 17th over of the game was indeed the most special over of the game. Bowling his fourth and final over of the game, Chahal intelligently dismissed Ventakesh Iyer. With a flighted googly tossed outside the off stump, Iyer missed the shot and was comfortably stumped by Sanju Samson.

Victim 1: Shreyas Iyer – The first victim of Chahal’s hattrick spell was none other than the danger man, KKR skipper Shreyas Iyer. A full-length delivery thrown into the leg stump saw Iyer missing his shot and the ball hitting the pads. Iyer wasted not a single second before referring to the third umpire. Slow-motion replay shows no replay as Iyer walks back to the pavilion.

Victim 2: Shivam Mavi – In comes next is Shivam Mavi. Yet another full-length delivery tossed wide off the batter proves Mavi to play a wayward shot. The ball travels for a while but stops at the safe hands of Riyan Parag who makes no mistake of dropping such an important catch. It was the third wicket for Chahal in that over with the nerves starting to jiggle as Chahal stands on a hattrick.

Victim 3: Pat Cummins – Pat Cummins walked onto the crease to play the dreaded hattrick ball. A clever delivery by Chahal sees him toss a leg break right outside off stump in what appears to be full delivery. The very slightest of contacts from Cummins sees Sanju Samson take a wonderful catch as a jubilant Chahal starts running across the pitch.

Wild Celebration – What followed next was unexpected. Chahal while running and celebrating with his teammates suddenly dropped to the ground and lay still in a pose with his legs crossed and folded on top of one another. This has been a remarkable reply to the Internet trolls and memes that were made upon Chahal when the spinner served as the 12th man in the Indin National team.
