Archer, who is currently in Barbados, was in the UK earlier this week for more scans. He has been going to the gym, runs and spending quality time with the family.
The fast bowler said that he is enjoying the time off but hungrier to make his return.
“Being injured is not a good place to be in mentally and physically, and I think they (England staff) know that and they were very, very accommodating letting me spend as much time home as possible,” he said as quoted by Fox Sports.
“And, to be honest, I think it has done me the world of good and I think it’s making me a bit more hungry as well to come back,” he added.
A number of IPL franchises can buy him in the upcoming IPL 2022 Auction. RR had last bought him for Rs 7.2 crore. He has played 35 IPL matches and taken 46 wickets at a brilliant economy rate of 7.13 rpo.
Jofra Archer is all set to make his return in March for England’s Test series against West Indies. He is currently enjoying the Ashes from the sidelines. “I’m not watching the series as a player, I’m watching it as an absolute fan,” he concluded.
