The five times IPL champions Mumbai Indians have retained Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Kieron Pollard, and Surykumar Yadav and have released Pandya brothers – Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Hardik Pandya wrote: “I’ll carry these memories with me for the rest of my life, I’ll carry these moments with me for the rest of my life. The friendships I’ve made, the bonds that have been formed, the people, the fans, I’ll always be grateful. I’ve grown not just as a player but as a person. I came here as a youngster with big dreams – we won together, we lost together, we fought together. Every moment with this team has a special place in my heart. They say all good things must end but @mumbaiindians will remain in my heart forever,”

Hardik Pandya – Mumbai Indians connection:
Hardik Pandya made his IPL debut with Mumbai Indians in 2015 and has played 92 games with the franchise. He was bought by the MI for just 10 L in 2015 and drew a whopping 11 crores salary for the 2021 edition.
Hardik has been an integral part of MI’s four of the five trophy wins in 2015, 2017, 2019 & 2020 editions.
Hardik Pandya IPL Career:
Pandya has amassed 1476 runs in 92 games for Mumbai Indians at a strike rate of 153.91.
He has also chipped in with the ball and has taken 42 wickets.
