Prithivi Shaw who initially started his IPL 2022 with a couple of dismayed starts, was criticized by his head coach Ricky Ponting after getting dismissed on two occasions for playing the pull shot. But he answered back his coach and critics in style by scoring a flashy 50 in the next game, and since then has played in a fantastic manner.

Prithvi Shaw registered two accolades today as he went on to score 41 out of just 20 balls. His destructive innings consisted of 7 fours and a single sixer. In this process, Shaw crossed 1500 runs of his IPL career and 2000 runs in his T20 career.
