New Zealand all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme is the one player who CSK can target. He is pretty economical with the ball and a lethal hitter with the bat. He also has experience playing in the IPL for KKR and RCB. He has played 25 matches and has picked six wickets. The all-rounder has also scored 303 runs.
2: David Wiese
The Namibian all-rounder David Wiese is another all-rounder who can fill in for Chahar. He is also in sublime form. The 36-year-old won the man of the match award in the eliminator match in PSL seven. Wiese has played 15 matches in the IPL for RCB. This time around, he has more experience and is a proven all-rounder.

3: Ben Cutting
Australia all-rounder Ben Cutting has also come off from a good PSL season. He was instrumental in Peshawar Zalmi reaching the playoffs. Cutting’s form and is medium pace bowling will be effective in pitches as Mumbai and Pune. The all-rounder has also played 21 matches in IPL and scored 238 runs and picked 10 wickets.

4: Isuru Udana
Former Sri Lanka all-rounder Isuru Udana offers left-arm option and batting skills down the order. He does not play international cricket and there will not be issues with his availability. Udana last played IPL for RCB in 2020 and picked up 8 wickets in 10 matches. He is a proven match winner and pretty economical with the ball.
5: Blessing Muzarabani
Zimbabwe pace bowler Blessing Muzarbani was in stellar form in T20Is in 2021. He took 10 wickets and was one of the shining lights for the team. He also did well for Multan Sultans in PSL 2022 season. He can consistently clock speeds of 140 and is concedes runs below 7.
