IPL 2022: CSK & MS Dhoni’s ‘MASTER-MOVE’, shifts training camp from Chennai to Surat, Check Why?
CSK Pre IPL Camp – Why CSK will have training camp in Surat? CSK will undergo a 20-day pre-IPL camp to gear up for the 15th season of the league. Surprisingly CSK’s camp will not be in their hometown but in Surat.
Reason will make everyone understand – how sharp Dhoni’s mind works.
MS Dhoni’s Master-Move: Surat’s Lalbhai Contractor Stadium has very recently built pitches with the same soil as it is in Mumbai. As soon as Dhoni & CSK came to know about it, they immediately shifted their training base from Chennai to Surat.
“Top cricketing stars like MS Dhoni, Dwayne Bravo, Ravindra Jadeja and other national and international stars will be part of the practice camp. The cricket franchise selected Surat as we have developed pitches using the same soil as it is in Mumbai,” Nainesh Desai, cricket secretary of Surat District Cricket Association was quoted by TOI.
MS Dhoni’s Master-Move: The practice camp is set to kick start on March 2.
All top CSK stars including Dhoni will train in 2 sessions at Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat unlike at the Chepauk Stadium every year.
