However, as Farhart has been in contact with almost all Delhi Capitals players, they have been placed in isolation awaiting Covid test results. If any more player tests positive, the match could be postponed.

Last year, the IPL 2022 had to be postponed after multiple bio-bubble breaches. This time, BCCI had set strict guidelines to prevent any such incidents from happening. But despite that, Patrick Farhart’s positive test result has puzzled many.

For now, the Delhi Capitals team are in isolation and are waiting for Covid test results. Depending on the test results, a call will be taken on the fate of the match on Saturday morning. The DC vs RCB match is set to kick off at 7:30 PM.

“The team is currently in isolation. Three set of tests will be conducted. One has been done today morning and the next will be done in the afternoon and the final set will be done tomorrow morning. If there is no more positive results, the match will take place as scheduled,” a senior BCCI official told InsideSport.IN.
