Biggest Pay-Day in Cricket: An IPL team can select a maximum of 25 players – 17 of them being Indian players and 8 overseas stars. Each team has been allocated a budget of INR 90 crore for the IPL 2022 Auction. The ten teams have retained a total of 33 players and have spent INR 343.7 crore.
