As per BCCI Ruling, All the Under-19 players have registered themselves for Rs 20 lakh base price. These players can get 10-20 times of their BASE PRICE said one of the franchise official.
“Junior talent is always welcomed and rewarded in IPL Auction. We know these kids are the future. Though rationale will always be applied but some of these kids can get 10-20 times of their base price. That’s how sometimes bidding goes”, said one of the top franchise official.

Raj Bawa
– 252 runs from 5 innings at 63.00 with a century.
– 9 wickets from 6 matches including a fifer.
He is an allrounder and probably best suited for the IPL format. He can bowl 3-4 overs at ease and is a good batsman as well. Franchisees who need a young all-rounder will definitely bid for Bawa in the auction and the youngster can get a hefty deal.
Yash Dhull- 229 runs from 4 innings @76.33 including a hundred and a half-century.
He is the captain of the India U-19 and is suited for all the formats. He slammed a timely century against Australia in the semifinals. He has already shown his capability and can attract a number of franchises in IPL 2022’s mega auction. Moreover, India’s U-19 captains have always been sold for big bucks in the last few seasons of IPL.

Shaik Rasheed- 201 runs from 4 inns @50.25 comprising 2 fifties. He was equally brilliant in the recently-concluded U19 Asia Cup.
Nishant Sandhu
– 140 runs from 5 inns @46.66
– 6 wickets from 5 matches including 4/19
NOTE: He also led India to reach the quarterfinals in absence of the captain, VC.
Vicky Ostwal- 12 wickets from 6 matches including a five-wicket haul
He is the best bowler in the current India U-19 squad and he showed that with his fabulous spell of 5/28 against South Africa. Good Indian spinners, who have a bit of mystery as well, are a rare commodity, so Ostwal will definitely get a good deal in the IPL auction.
Ravi Kumar- 10 wickets in 6 matches
18-year-old left arm pacer will also be in line for a IPL Contract.
IPL 2022 Auction tension for Youngsters: Ravi Kumar, Yash Dhull, Shaik Rasheed and Raj Bawa are among the India U-19 cricketers who have a fair chance of being picked by the IPL franchises during the two-day auction in Bangalore on February 12-13.
“Yes, the auction is around. Looking forward to it. But not really too worried about whether I’ll be selected or not”, declared Ravi Kumar, the Indian Under-19 pacer.
“If I get picked, well and good. If not, it’s okay as there’s always next time. So I’m not really tense or thinking much about it (auction),” he added.
NOTE: All the players have registered themselves for Rs 20 lakh base price.
