1. Yash Dayal
Yash Dayal is a 24-year-old bowler from Uttar Pradesh who is known for his accurate line and length. The left-arm seamer was signed for INR 3.20 crore by Gujarat Titans. He has picked up 15 wickets in as many T20 matches, while in his last 5 List A appearances, he has picked up 11 wickets.

2. Vaibhav Arora
Another 24-year-old bowler, Vaibhav Arora also found a few teams interested in him, but it was Punjab Kings who eventually signed the player for INR 2 crore. He has played 12 T20 matches for Himachal Pradesh in which he has picked up 12 wickets. Arora was a part of Kolkata Knight Riders previously, but he never got a chance to play.

3. Abhinav Sadarangani
Gujarat Titans spent INR 2.60 crore on Abhinav Sadarangani on Day 1. He is a 27-year-old batter from Karnataka who has played four T20 matches for his state, in which he has scored 162 runs. He is also a part-time leg-spinner.

4. Prashant Solanki
Chennai Super Kings might have a knack for buying only experienced players, but they did make an exception for Prashant Solanki. The 21-year-old leg-spinner has played only one T20 match for his state team Mumbai, but he has picked up 21 wickets in 9 List A games.

5. Ashok Sharma
Ashok Sharma is a 19-year-old bowler from Rajasthan who does not have much experience in this format. In fact, he has not even made his T20 yet for Rajasthan. Hence, when KKR bid INR 55 lakhs for this right-arm seamer, it caught a few by surprise. However, Brendon McCullum & Co. have got their target and now the onus is on Sharma to prove his mettle.
