Analyzing what Rohit Sharma’s team should do next season, former Indian cricketer Anjum Chopra told the Times of India “They might want to get a few new players in, they might want to let go of a few as well to have a better balance to the side, because they can’t continue in this fashion.”

“The Pandya brothers are missing, Quinton de Kock at the top is missing. They don’t have Trent Boult as a seamer who made such an impact as well and they have had to fall back on their seasoned campaigners. They are just not clicking as a team. Something or the other is leaking or conceding too much in the bowling department or in the batting department, the form has just not been there,” she further added.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians are likely to finish their season at the bottom. They have won only two of their 11 matches so far and will be aiming to win all of their next three matches, which are against Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals.
