IPL 2022: After captain KL Rahul, LSG star Marcus Stoinis REPRIMANDED for outburst at umpire during RCB clash
LSG vs RCB Highlights: Lucknow Super Giants slipped to the 4th spot after suffering a 18 runs loss to Royal Challengers Bangalore last night. Chasing a target of 182, Lucknow Super Giants were dealt an early blow with Josh Hazlewood removing Quinton de Kock early. LSG were reduced to 33/2 with Hazlewood bagging his second, removing Manish Pandey.
But KL Rahul and Krunal Pandya kept the scorecard ticking with a 31-run stand. But Harshal Patel dealt the biggest blow, dismissing KL Rahul. Krunal Pandya and Deepak Hooda kept LSG in hunt with a 36-run stand but once Hooda was dismissed, LSG kept on losing wickets. In the end, Hazlewood’s wickets of Marcus Stoinis and Ayush Badoni meant, LSG fell behind in scoring rate and ultimately could only score 163/8, losing by 18 runs.
That loss also meant, LSG slipped to 4th. The Super Giants are next scheduled to lock horns with Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians (MI) on Sunday, April 24 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
