Harpreet Brar joined Punjab Kings for a salary cap of 3.8 CroresHarpreet Brar: The 26-year-old bowler was picked by the Punjab Kings for a price of 3.8 Crores. The leg spinner has played a total of 10 games in IPL, with the maximum of 7 matches coming in last season in IPL 2021. He picked 5 wickets with an average of 27.80 and scored 64 odd runs with the bat. From a base price of 20 Lakhs, Punjab Kings rebought their former player and in all likelihood, we might get to see more good performances from Harpreet.
Kartik Tyagi: Yet another unknown name that went for big bucks in the IPL 2022 Auction was Karthik Tyagi. The young fast bowler joined the Sunrisers Hyderabad for a price of 4 Crores. Tyagi has played a total of 14 IPL games in his career and was a part of the Rajasthan Royals team. In 2020 he played 10 games and scalped 9 wickets, while in IPL 2021 he played 4 games where he picked 4 wickets. In IPL 2022, where pacers went for big bucks, we can expect a 21-year-old Tyagi to make many appearances for his team.

Aneeshwar Gautam: The 19-year-old star all-rounder joined Royal Challengers Bangalore for a salary cap of 20 Lakhs. Apart from being a part of the Indian U19 squad, Gautam had an eventful year in 2021. In the Vinoo Mankad Trophy for Karnataka, he scored 239 runs in 6 innings and averaged a score of 79.6. He also scalped 7 wickets with an economy of 3.89. In the challenger trophy, he scored 179 runs in 4 innings with an average of 59.3 and a personal best score of 82 not out. We can expect to see the youngster play for the RCB.
Rajvardhan Hangargeka performed well in the ICC U19 World Cup and joined CSK for 1.5 CroresRajvardhan Hangargekar: The 19-year-old fast bowler was an exceptional performer for India in the ICC U19 World Cup. After a bidding war between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings, he was ultimately sold to the Chennai outfits for a salary cap of 1.5 Crores. For his home state Maharashtra, he has already played 5 List A games alongside 2 T20 matches. In the Vinoo Mankad Trophy, he bagged 19 wickets in 8 matches and scored 216 runs with his best score of 93 not out. A player set for greatness, Hangargekar will surely shine in IPL.
Tilak Verma: Tilak Verma joined Mumbai Indians for a salary cap of 1.7 Crores. Apart from representing India in the U19 World Cup in 2020, he was the highest run-getter in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy. He scored 433 runs and was also the highest run-getter in the National U19. We can expect Verma to get a few chances in IPL 2022 and perform well in those matches.
