IPL 2021 CSK beat RCB – RCB’s Most Shameful Record: IPL 2021’s return to the UAE does not bode well for Virat Kohli and RCB, as the franchise continues to struggle in foreign conditions. After a good Phase 1, RCB are in danger of undoing their good work, having suffered back to back defeats to cut down their advantage over fellow playoff contenders. The losses against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and CSK have now made it seven games without a win in the UAE for Virat Kohli and Co., with five coming in the previous edition of the tournament.

Royal Challengers Bangalore got off to a fine start on Friday as openers Devdutt Padikkal and Virat Kohli scored half-centuries in their 111-run partnership. However, following their dismissal, Shardul Thakur and Dwayne Bravo tightened things up as the pitch slowed down considerably, to restrict RCB to just 156 in their 20 overs, with Virat Kohli and Co. managing just 45 runs in their last six overs.

IPL 2021 CSK beat RCB – RCB’s Most Shameful Record: In response, CSK openers Ruturaj Gaikwad and Faf du Plessis went hard at the new ball and stitched a vital partnership with their respective 30s. Cameos from Moeen Ali, Ambati, Rayudu and Suresh Raina saw them over the line, while captain MS Dhoni also chipped in with a couple of boundaries in the end.
