IPL 2021 – Rajasthan Royals Tabraiz Shamsi: RR sign South Africa’s Tabraiz Shamsi for IPL 2021 Phase 2 in UAE: Rajasthan Royals announced the inclusion of the world’s No.1 T20I bowler- Tabraiz Shamsi to their side for the second leg of IPL 2021 in the UAE. RR announced the signing of South Africa’s Tabraiz Shamsi as the replacement of Australia fast bowler Andrew Tye for the remainder of IPL 2021. The Australian player- Tye pulled out of the tournament citing personal reasons- he wanted to spend more time with his family after a hectic season.

IPL 2021 – Rajasthan Royals Tabraiz Shamsi: 31-year-old Shamsi has a vast pool of T20 experience under his belt. He has played for various domestic T20 leagues and even represented his country in numerous T20Is.

The world’s number 1 T20 bowler has featured in 158 occasions in the shortest format of the game and scalped 183 wickets. He has an economy of 7.18.

Besides, the left-arm leg spinner has since picked up 45 wickets in 39 T20Is and returned with an exceptional economy of 6.80.

In the IPL, Shamsi has played 4 matches in which he picked up 3 wickets for Royals Challengers Bangalore, who had recruited him as a replacement player during the 2016 season.
