IPL 2021: KKR biggest power-hitter in the team, check video: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) shared a throwback video where their players were practising in a unique manner. The players were charged up and were seen smashing the big hits. The purple brigade undertook a unique power-meter challenge to check the intensity of their players with the bat as they smashed the big hits.
Without a doubt, KKR’s muscle-powered Andre Russell emerged as a clear undefeatable winner in the contest. However, Indian player cum KKR opener Shubman Gill gave Rusell a tough fight in smashing the power hits.

The unique competition was organised in two parts and the leaderboard after 2 rounds of the contest are as below.
- Andre Russell- 903 points
- Shubmaan Gill- 798 points
- Dinesh Karthik- 715 points
- Eoin Morgan- 663 points
- Nitish Rana- 419 runs
As for the second leg of IPL 2021 in UAE, Eoin Morgan led side will leave for the Gulf country on August 27.

IPL 2021: Kolkata Knight Riders schedule in second phase of tournament
Before the suspension, Kolkata were a lowly seventh as their struggles continued, winning just two of their seven games in Phase 1. Eoin Morgan and Co. will hope to turn their backs on those results when they land in UAE and return to winning ways and end their playoff drought.
