The video posted by Mumbai Indians on Instagram has surfaced speculation on Ishan Kishan’s shoulder injury.
This has become the talk of the town if the blue brigade had been hiding Kishan’s shoulder injury from MI fans.

The throws were planned from different meters in the ground to warm him up.
In the 2 minute clip, MI fielding coach Jimmy Pamment planned out a special drill aimed to gradually increase the strength in Kishan’s shoulder as the tournament approaches. The purpose of the specially designed session is that Kishan gets his shoulder optimally fit before the cricket action begins for phase two of the tournament.
IPL 2021: Statements that denote Ishan Kishan has shoulder niggle
In the clip, Kishan explicitly mentioned, “So as you know, my shoulder was not in good position. So, we just wanted to go for maximum of 30 throws.”
“So, he is just taking care of that and he’s just making sure that I keep throwing 40 throws every alternate day,” Kishan added.
Even the fielding coach’s statements hinted at Kishan’s shoulder injury from which he is trying to recover with regular training and practice.
“The objective is the movement. That I am looking at for him, really. The objective is to build up strength in the arm as we progress towards the start of the tournament.”
