SRH’s key batsman, who confirmed his availability for phase two of the tournament on August 10 via an Instagram post recently shared a touchy video on his social media account. The left-handed batsman misses playing cricket in front of family and wants to see loved ones back in the stadium.

David Warner excited for the resumption of IPL 2021
The 34-year old batsman seems excited for the UAE-based leg of the 14th edition of the IPL. Warner posted an Instagram story where he posed with Abdul Samad and captioned that he is waiting to see his big sixes.
David Warner’s performance in first Phase
The left-handed batsman showcased fine performance with the willow in the first leg of the tournament before it was abruptly called off following the Covid outbreak. In the six innings he played for the side, he aggregated 193 runs and returned with a fine average of 32.16. Though he failed miserably in leading his side, Warner had a fine show with the bat.

The first phase of the tournament didn’t go well for SRH. In the seven matches they played, the team managed to win just one match. With just two points under their belt, they were at the rock bottom of the points table before the tournament was called off in May.
