IPL 2021: In what is a major blow to MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings, Faf du Plessis is almost certain to miss the IPL opener. He sustained a groin injury while playing for Saint Lucia Kings in CPL 2021. The in-form South African batsmen missed the last three matches for the franchise on a trot, including the CPL Final. According to the information coming in from CSK camp, though CSK management is still hoping that Faf du Plessis will be available for the 1st match – but at the same time, Robin Uthappa has been asked to get ready for his CSK debut.
