Ruturaj Gaikwad starred with the bat (88 off 58 balls) as Chennai Super Kings beat Mumbai Indians on Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021’s return in Dubai on Sunday.
Apart from Gaikwad, Ravindra Jadeja ( 26) and Dwayne Bravo (23), also made valuable contributions with the bat.
In the bowling department, it was a collective effort by Deepak Chahar, Josh Hazlewood, Dwayne Bravo who produced exceptional work and defended the total successfully.

On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings will look to sort out their batting issues. In their last clash against Mumbai Indians (MI), the Kiwi pace-bowling duo of Trent Boult and Milne ran through the CSK top-order.
Though CSK are table toppers, the form of Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni is still a concern for them. Both Raina and Dhoni have retired from international cricket and lack of match practice is very visible in their batting.
Eyes will also be on Ambati Rayudu’s inclusion in the playing XI. Rayudu was retired hurt after being hit on his elbow by an Adam Milne delivery. However, he is likely to be fit for the match against RCB.
Meanwhile, Sam Curran has also finished his mandatory quarantine and will be also available for selection. However, MS Dhoni, who is known to stick to his playing XI, is unlikely to make any change, especially after winning the last game quite comfortably.
