IPL 2021: Check inside view of Mumbai Indians luxurious team room in UAE comprising theatre, gaming zone, auditorium- see pics – Mumbai Indians have already begun their preparations for the upcoming IPL 2021 Phase 2 and were among the early birds to land in the UAE. The players underwent a six-day quarantine at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi before entering the bubble. The resort is one of the most luxurious venues in the landscape of the country and provides its customers with an experience they will cherish for their lifetime with a bunch of activities and amenities to keep the players busy.

The Mumbai Indians team room is one that oozes luxury and comfort providing a perfect place for the team to rest and enjoy quality time in each other’s company. The MI team room boasts a mini theatre with comfortable sofas for players to rest. The team features a wall of pictures showcasing some of the greatest moments in the franchise history over the years, while there is also a performing stage with a full set of musical instruments, including guitars and drums. The MI team room also has a kids play area where the players and their wives can hang out with their children. The area also has a pool table and gaming area, so players can cool down together and start afresh every day.

The St Regis Saadiyat Island Resort is just 20 minutes away from the Abu Dhabi International Airport and is one of the most luxurious properties in the Gulf country. The resort boasts 312 rooms, 64 suites, and 14 meeting rooms, including other amenities like Iridium Spa, Luxury indoor lap pool, Athletic Club, Outdoor pools, Private beach, among others. As per reports, the swanky hotel in Abu Dhabi where the MI contingent would be staying costs around Rs 25,000 per day. The venue also boasts of the biggest wedding ballroom in the UAE’s capital.

The hotel also has multiple swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor. The latter opens up to a private beach offering the players some much-needed privacy and relaxation especially during the pandemic and the run-in of the IPL season. The resort also offers seaside dining and spa among other facilities, meaning the players will have too little to worry about other than matters on the field and they head into the season with the correct headspace.

Mumbai Indians was the 1st team to leave for the UAE and will now have a 1-month camp in Abu Dhabi. The team has already hit the nets after completing a mandatory six-day quarantine and have begun their preparations to get things right ahead of the resumption of IPL 2021. The deafening champions ended their Phase 1 with a win over CSK and will face their arch-rivals in their first game of IPL’s return on September 19.
