IPL 2021 – MS Dhoni to play IPL 2022? This can be considered as the biggest news for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) fans. MS Dhoni is all set to play another season of IPL in 2022. It was being speculated that IPL 2021 can be the last season for Dhoni but the CSK captain has confirmed that he is likely to ‘play his farewell match in Chepauk’. This clearly hints that Dhoni will play IPL 2022.

Later, an India Cements official confirmed to Cricbuzz that CSK will retain MS Dhoni and the former Indian captain won’t go on the auction.

“Of course, we are going to retain him. He will be there next year and who knows a few more years too. Nothing has been decided and all he said was that fans can see his farewell match in Chennai. There is no way to conclude that it will be next year itself,” the India Cements official, who attended the virtual event, told Cricbuzz.
