Amit Mishra is on the verge of breaking Lasith Malinga’s record of most wickets in the IPL. Mishra is just 5 wickets away from breaking Malinga’s record. The spinner has taken 166 wickets in 154 matches at an economy rate of 7.35.

150 wickets

R Ashwin of Delhi Capitals and SRH pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar needs 11 wickets each to complete 150 wickets in the Indian Premier League. Only 4 players have taken 150+ wickets in IPL, they are Malinga, Amit Mishra, Piyush Chawla, Dwayne Bravo and Harbhajan Singh.

100 wickets

The costliest player of IPL 2021, Chris Morris needs just 6 wickets to complete 100 wickets. He has taken 94 wickets. DC spinner Axar Patel can also achieve the landmark if he takes 14 wickets in IPL 2021 Phase 2.

50 wickets

The likes of Krunal Pandya, Shahbaz Nadeem, Shreyas Gopal and Mohammed Siraj are on the cusp of completing 50 wickets in the IPL.

Sunil Narine of KKR needs a 4-wicket haul to overtake Lasith Malinga’s record. He is currently equal with Malinga with 6 four-wicket hauls each.

Kieron Pollard needs to grab 8 catches to become the only second IPL player to take 100 catches after Suresh Raina (104).

Kolkata Knight Riders wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik is only 6 wickets away from completing 150 dismissals behind the stumps. He is only behind CSK captain MS Dhoni (153).
