Kings XI Punjab skipper KL Rahul once again showed his class on Saturday when he smashed 74 off 58 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders in the match no. 24 of Indian Premier League 2020.

With the superb innings, Rahul consolidated his position at the top of the Orange Cap table as he has now scored 387 runs in seven matches so far at an average of 64.50. The 28-year old also has a century and three fifties to his name.

Meanwhile, Rahul’s teammate Mayank Agarwal also smashed a half-century on Saturday to jump to the second position in the highest run-scorer tally.

Mayank now has 3115 runs in his kitty and his average is 52.50.

Third on the list is Chennai Super Kings’ Faf du Plessis who has 307 runs to his name in seven games.

Notably, Sunrisers Hyderabad openers Jonny Bairstow and David Warner are fourth and fifth on the list respectively.

On the other hand, Kings XI Punjab pacer Mohammad Shami picked a wicket on Saturday in the IPL 2020 game against Kolkata Knight Riders to acquire the fourth position in the highest-wicket taker’s list.

Shami now has 10 wickets to his name in seven matches and an economy rate of 8.36.

Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals pacer Kagiso Rabada is leading the Purple Cap list with 15 scalps to his name in five games and an economy rate of 7.81.

Mumbai Indians pacer Jasprit Bumrah is second in the chart as he has bagged 11 wickets in six games so far.

Bumrah’s MI teammate Trent Boult is third on the list with 10 wickets in his kitty, while another MI pacer James Pattinson who has clinched 9 wickets in six games is at fifth spot.

Talking about the points table, Kolkata Knight Riders beat Kings XI Punjab by 2 runs in the thrilling match no. 24 of Indian Premier League 2020 to jump to third position in the points table.

Defending a modest 165-runs target, KKR restricted KXIP to 162/5 in 20 overs.
Kolkata now have eight points from six games.

Meanwhile, Punjab are now in real trouble as they have lost six out of their seven games and are at the bottom of the points tally.

Later in the day, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) secured their fourth win of the IPL 2020 season with a convincing 37 runs win over MS Dhoni’s CSK in Dubai. With the win, Kohli’s side entered the race for the top 4, occupying the 4th place in the IPL 2020 points table with 8 points from 6 games.
