India’s Winning Streak: Indian cricket’s NEW KING Rohit Sharma continues to RISE, extends winning streak to 14-0 as captain as India whitewash SL 2-0 in Tests

Rohit Sharma continues his winning streak as India captain with the hosts clinching yet another series whitewash at home. Since succeeding Virat Kohli as India captain in November, Rohit Sharma has won 14 straight games, with India’s only losses in that period coming in South Africa, which the Hit-Man missed due to an injury.

After the T20 World Cup debacle, Rohit Sharma took over the mantle and India began the new era with a 3-0 win against New Zealand in the T20I series. The Indian captain then missed the South Africa tour due to injury but returned for the home series against West Indies.

In his first ODI assignment, India comfortably downed the West Indies, winning the series 3-0. In the T20I series that followed, the Men in Blue again clean swept the West Indies, clinching a 3-0 win.

The series vs Sri Lanka followed the WI tour, and India sealed the T20I series 3-0 once again, taking their streak to 12 straight wins under Rohit Sharma. The Hit-Man made his Test captaincy debut in the two Tests, and passed with flying colours, winning 2-0, with both Tests finishing in under 3 days.
