India WC Practice Matches: T20 World Cup 2022 – International Cricket Council (ICC) have announced the schedule for T20 World Cup warm-up matches. India are all set to play two practice matches against World Champions Australia and runners-up of T20 World Cup 2021 New Zealand. The Rohit Sharma-led side will first play Australia on October 17 and then will face their bogey team New Zealand on October 19 at Gabba in Brisbane. India WC Practice Matches: Good practice for India as they face two top-quality teams
- Undoubtedly, India could not have asked for better warm-up matches than facing Australia and New Zealand.
- Australia, the World Champions are strong favorites this time around as well. Meanwhile, New Zealand are India’s bogey team.
- The Rohit Sharma-led side are yet to win a ICC match against New Zealand since 2016.
- India also suffered a heartbreak the last time around against the Kiwis in T20 World Cup in 2021.
- This time around, India will get nice practice by facing off against quality teams.
- India are placed inn Super 12 Group 2, while Australia and New Zealand are placed in Group 1.
