Pant had a solo practice session at his favorite GABBA ground. This was the wicketkeeper-batter’s last chance in the warm-up game against New Zealand to stake a claim in India’s playing XI against Pakistan. The match though was abandoned without a ball being bowled. Now, team India has reached Melbourne, and it will be playing its first match against Pakistan on Sunday (October 23).
