India vs NewZealand LIVE: VVS Laxman will be Team India’s head coach during their white-ball tour of New Zealand which is scheduled just after the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. “The support staff of the Indian team in the ongoing T20 World Cup-head coach Rahul Dravid, bowling coach Paras Mhambrey and batting coach Vikram Rathour will return to India after the tournament to take a well-deserved break after being on the road for the past couple of months. They will then go for the Bangladesh tour with Team India. Hrishikesh Kanitkar (batting coach) and Sairaj Bahutule (bowling coach) will be with Laxman as support staff of the Indian team there,” a source in the BCCI was quoted as saying by Times of India.

Indian batting great VVS Laxman is currently the chairman of the BCCI’s National Cricket Academy in Bangalore.

The former India international was the coach of the Men in Blue during the Ireland and Zimbabwe tours this year, followed by the South Africa home series ahead of the T20 World Cup in October.

India men’s tour of New Zealand will begin from Nov 18 till Nov 30. The limited-over series will consist of three T20Is and an equal number of ODIs.

India vs New Zealand 1st T20I will be played on Friday, 18th November at the Sky Stadium in Wellington. The teams will shift bases to Mount Maunganui for the second T20I which will be played at the Bay Oval on November 20, Sunday.

The third and final T20I will be played at McLean Park in Napier on Tuesday, 22nd November. The ODI series will begin on Friday, November 25 at Eden Park. The second match will be played on Sunday, 27th November at Seyden Park. The last match of the series and tour will be held on Wednesday, 30th November at Hagley Oval.
