India vs England: Nick Compton blasts Virat Kohli for aggressive behaviours, calls him the “most foul mouther individual” – Former England opener Nick Compton has lashed out hard on Virat Kohli following his on-field antics during India’s iconic victory at Lord’s. The Indian captain was visibly charged up as things went down to the wire, indulging in a war of words with James Anderson and Ollie Robinson. India vs England: While Virat Kohli’s aggression was at the forefront of Team India’s win, former England opener Nick Compton was not impressed and recollected an incident from his duel with Kohli back in 2012. In a now-deleted tweet, Compton wrote, “Isn’t Kohli the most foul-mouthed individual? I’ll Never forget the barrage of abuse I received in 2012 when the swearing stunned me to the point that he did himself a serious disservice. It highlights what a level-headed and grounded man Root, Tendulkar, Williamson et al are.”

India vs England: Tempers flared between the two sides especially after fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah went hard on James Anderson late on Day 3. Verbal battles, intense stare and constant sledging were the norm over the next two days as India clinched a win by bowling out England inside the final 60 overs of the match. After the win, Kohli said, “What happened on the field [the verbals] really charged us up and gave us that extra motivation to finish the game off.”
