@12:20 – It’s good news for cricket fans from the weather department as there is very little chance of rain on Day 5 of the Lord’s Test.
India will resume the day with their 2nd innings and will have to look for quick runs to set a big target. As for the rain, UK MET Office predicts less than 40% chance of rain on Day 5 and that could see an exciting day of cricket.

Day 1 was interrupted by a few spots of rain here and there but play was largely unaffected as England did eventually send down their full quota of 90 overs at Lord’s. The conditions were mostly overcast, a slight drizzle delayed the start before action resumed ad India had to take early lunch due to rain. Since then, it has been smooth sailing with no stoppage, as Virat Kohli and Co. cruised to 276/3 on Day 1, on the back of a KL Rahul century and Rohit Sharma’s classy 83.
