Kuldeep Yadav Fitness Update: Things are looking optimistic for Kuldeep. The wrist-spinner suffered a hand injury at practice during the West Indies series at home and was ruled out. He is recovering well and has begun bowling at the NCA. The fitness test will determine whether he will be available for the five-match T20 series.
However, it will be a crucial week as if he misses the West Indies tour, he is all but out of the T20 World Cup reckoning. Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja both are ahead of him in the pecking order thanks to their excellent batting skills. Yuzvendra Chahal has already confirmed his spot.
