Iyer can also be spotted showcasing his dance moves upon arrival in the African nation. Further, the video features under fire batsmen Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane looking in a jolly mood.

The fun banter between Delhi boys Virat Kohli and Ishant Sharma
Virat Kohli and Ishant Sharma were involved in a fun banter en route their chartered flight to Johannesburg as the former curiously looked into the suitcase of the pacer before declaring it “unique”. Ishant could be heard urging Kohli to not tease him early in the morning.

Despite fear of the Omicron variant of the Covid-19, the Indian players will be spending just one day in hotel quarantine. The 18-man squad will undergo Covid-19 testing after arriving at the hotel and will be released from quarantine once the negative results are out.
“Team India will quarantine upon arrival and will be released following the results of the arrival COVID-19 tests that will take place when the team arrives at their hotel. As long as it takes for the arrival Covid-19 test results to come out. No longer than a day,” a CSA spokesperson had told InsideSport on Tuesday.

The likes of Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant and Mohammed Shami have shared pictures from their arrival in the Rainbow. Anushka Sharma – actor and wife of Virat Kohli, who has travelled to South Africa alongside daughter Vamika, has also shared an Instagram Story.
India have never won a Test series in South Africa and would be looking to script history on their 8th Test tour to the nation. The first match of the 3-Test series will be played from December 26 in Centurion.
