India tour of England: Wriddhiman Saha, Abhimanyu Easwaran complete isolation period, set to join Team India in Durham on Friday – Team India wicket-keeper batsman and top-order batsman Abhimanyu Easwaran are all set to rejoin Team India in Durham on Friday after completing their required period of isolation. The duo was Tested positive alongside Rishabh Pant, who joined the team on Thursday. India’s bowling coach Bharat Arun was also Tested negative and will join the team in Durham.

Shah and Easwaran are likely to feature in the second tour match scheduled for 28th July. 

India tour of England: Earlier, Insidesport reported that all members of the Indian cricket team – have tested negative on July 17. According to the BCCI sources – all Indian team players including all 3 quarantined members of the team i.e wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha, backup opener Abhimanyu Easwaran & bowling coach Bharat Arun have all tested negative in the first round of RT-PCR Tests.

“All have tested negative and have cleared the RT-PCR Test. But as per the local protocols Saha, Easwaran & Arun will not travel to Durham and have been asked to stay in team hotel in London’, confirms the BCCI source.

On Thursday, Pant, who was tested positive for COVID-19 in England, recovered from the virus and joined the Virat Kohli led Team India – and guess what who was the happiest to receive Pant in the Indian team. Pant joined his team in Durham and none other than coach Ravi Shastri gave him GRAND-WELCOME.
