What is even more surprising is his dismissal. Samson attempted to play an absolute weird shot that unfortunately was his dismissal. Samson misjudged the pace of a waist-length delivery from Odean Smith and decided to play it late. However, the ball went much faster as it rocks the stumps and the off stump goes cartwheeling on the ground.
With the squad announcement for the much anticipated Asia Cup scheduled to take place in the next couple of days, Samson will have only himself to blame for not getting selected with his inconsistent performances.
