SA vs IND 1st ODI LIVE Updates: Both India & Proteas haven’t performed as per expectation in ONE DAY Internationals since January 2020. In the period, India has lost ODI series in New Zealand & Australia. Their only away win came against Sri Lanka last year.

  • Overall – Matches – 15 / Wins – 7 / Loss – 8
  • Away from Home – Matches -9 / Wins – 3 / Loss -6

They are currently lying at No. 4th in the ICC ODI Rankings points table & No. 7th in ICC World Super League Table.

South Africa had more disaster up their sleeve in the ODI’s off-late.

The Proteas have yet to win an ODI series of any sort since the resumption of international career post the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020.

This includes defeats to Pakistan (home), Sri Lanka (away) and a drawn series against Ireland (away).

This has left the Proteas in ninth position on the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League standings after 10 matches and in grave danger of having to qualify for the next Cricket World Cup in India next year.
