Sunil Gavaskar has named his playing XI which sees quite a few major changes in the team. First and foremost, Gavaskar has made it clear that India should keep KL Rahul as the designated wicketkeeper in the squad. This essentially means KS Bharat not getting a chance in the team. The other significant change in the team is focused on the bowling unit. While fans were remained awestruck with the return of all rounder Shardul Thakur in the team, Gavaskar opined that Jaydev Unadkat should get the nod ahead of the KKR all-rounder. Though both offer different variations in pace bowling, Shardul Thakur has just recently recovered from an injury. On the other hand, Jaydev Unadkat has been in scintillating form especially in domestic cricket
