The new India Cricket Jersey is here. Rohit Sharma & Co will don new Adidas jerseys in the WTC Final 2023 against Australia on June 7 at Oval. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has inked a 5-year deal that will expire in March 2028 with sports goods giants Adidas. The deal is worth Rs 350 crore or Rs 70 a year but there has been no official word on it. The German company will replace Killer which filled in temporarily after MPL exited the kit sponsorship deal. India Cricket Team will wear the jersey for all three formats of men’s, women’s and age-group cricket. Follow World Test Championship Final LIVE Updates on InsideSport.IN.

Adidas will be the sole supplier for all match, training & travel wear for the BCCI- including the men’s, women’s & youth teams. Starting June 2023, Team India will be seen in the three stripes for the very first time and will debut their new kit during the World Test Championship Finals.

Adidas has a nominal presence in cricket. Mumbai Indians are the only cricket team in India to don Adidas kits. Through Team India, Adidas will reenter the international cricket market having earlier sponsored England cricket team. As for India, this is only the second time that the team will wear jerseys by a recognised sports brand. Team India earlier had a deal with Nike before MPL replaced them.

“We are committed to helping grow the game of cricket and could not be more excited to partner with one of the world’s leading sportswear brands, Adidas, in this journey. With its rich historical legacy in sports, world-class products, and strong global reach, Adidas will play an important role in driving the performance and future success of different categories of Indian cricket,” BCCI secretary Jay Shah said of the deal.

The partnership between the BCCI and Adidas will drive the sport forward both on and off the pitch with the sports brand bringing its innovative designs and expertise to Indian cricket. Adidas has a long history of equipping some of the best teams in the world with footwear and apparel, created to be the best for the athlete.
