Day 4 Summary: With India taking a massive first-innings lead, Bangladesh began fightback on Day 4. Zakir Hasan was the star as he kept Indian bowlers at bay with a 148-run stand with Najmul Shanto.
But once Mukesh Kumar broke the stand, Bangladesh lost wickets at regular intervals. Saurabh Kumar was the wrecker in chief with 5 wickets for 63 runs. Bangladesh lower order crumbled as Bangladesh could only manage 341/9 from 219/2.
