India Sets 278 Runs Target for Australia: Half-centuries from Mithali Raj, Harmanpreet Kaur and Yastika Bhatia helped India post a challenging total of 277/7 in 50 overs.

Mithali Raj & Yastika Bhatia CENTURY PARTNERSHIP: India lost both openers Smriti Mandhana (10) and Shafali Verma (12) early.

But Yastika Bhatia & Mithali Raj gave India stability with 130 runs partnership for the 3rd wicket. Both completed their respecitve 50’s. Bhatia was out after scoring fine 59 while Mithali came back to form with knock of 68.

Australia bowlers were very wayward and bowled 24 wides in the match. Ellyse Perry in one over bowled 7 wides and gave away 16 Runs that brought back India into the match.

India brought in Shafali in XI in place of Deepti Sharma but she could not do much and was out for just 12.

India have lost two games and have won two. Meanwhile, Australia are yet to lose a game in the four matches that they have played so far.

This is 200th ODI for Jhulan Goswami and she’s presented a cap to mark the occasion
