Team India has slipped to the second spot in the ongoing WTC (World Test Championship) Cycle. Rohit Sharma and Co needed 12 points from the game to maintain their spot at the top of the table. But with rain playing spoilsport and Day 5 being called off, the two teams share a draw and India slip to the second spot in WTC Standings.

India and West Indies gets 6 points each as 2nd Test ends in a draw
As the second Test ended in a tie, India and the West Indies both receive six points. With the second Test being a draw, India will only gain four points from the series finale in Trinidad. The visitors have received 33.33 percentage points for drawing the second Test. The proportion of points won in the WTC is used to rank all teams. Teams can also lose one championship point for each over-short if they maintain slow over-rates.
Currently, team India is second in the WTC points table. Rohit Sharma and Co have now slipped behind Pakistan, who are currently indulged in a Test series against Sri Lanka. WTC holders Australia are placed third with 54.17 PCT and earning 26 points from 3 Test matches in their title-defending season at the Ashes. Meanwhile, West Indies are placed ninth in the current WTC standings.
