India vs West Indies LIVE – Indian Team Ahmedabad Camp: Rohit Sharma will make his debut as a full-time limited-overs captain next month when West Indies tour India for three ODIs and three T20Is.

The series marks India first home assignment of the new year after their dreadful tour to South Africa, where India lost both the Test and ODI series.

The Indian squad has been asked to assemble in Ahmedabad on February 1, where they will undergo a three-day quarantine and regular testing before the series commences on February 6.

“All players and support staff including Rahul will reach Ahmedabad by Feb 1. They will be in room quarantine for three days and will have Covid tests. After that, they will have a short camp before the ODI series,” a BCCI official told InsideSport.

When asked about the travel arrangements, the BCCI official said, “We tried to arrange charter flights like the UK tour but it will not work out this time. It could have avoided any interaction with other travellers. But it will not work out this time.”
