In the second T20I, Bishnoi dropped a straightforward catch of Nicholas Pooran off the bowling of Chahal, leaving him with his hands on his head. The drop proved costly as Pooran scored 62 from thereon. But Indian bowlers held on to their nerves and eked out an 8-run victory.
Speaking after the game to the official broadcaster Star Sports, Irfan Pathan asked Chahal “So where are you taking Bishnoi for dinner?”. For that Chahal replied by saying “Firstly, I’ll take him to the corner in the room,”in his usual hilarious style.
21-year old Ravi Bishnoi made his T20 debut in the first match of the series. Yuzvendra Chahal was the one who presented him his cap.
In the first game too when Chahal was bowling, Bishnoi made an error in the field. Nicholas Pooran tried to hammer Yuzvendra Chahal over the long-off. But, he failed to connect it properly, Bishnoi did well to take the catch but he made a big mistake as he stepped on the boundary rope, giving away a six.
