The T20 Series starts on 29th July. And despite coming out of isolation, according to the BCCI source their is not enough time for Rahul to clear fitness test and travel to the WestIndies.
However, the BCCI will not announce a replacement for the India’s opening bat.

While the likes of Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Dinesh Karthik and others have touched down in the Caribbean, KL Rahul was currently in isolation having tested positive for COVID-19 last week.
Rahul was named in the West Indies series squad subject to a fitness test, but couldn’t appear for the same having tested positive and forced into isolation.
Rahul’s isolation ended today and the 30-year-old will now have to undergo a series of tests at NCA.
The Indian vice-captain will have to return two negative RT-PCR tests, followed by a cardiovascular test. He will also have to show signs of full recovery from his sports hernia injury, having undergone surgery in Germany.

Rahul did look in good shape and went through a series of drills at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore while hitting the gym at the NCA. He also began practising batting in the nets, facing veteran Jhulan Goswami before being isolated.

The T20I series is kick-starting on July 29. Rahul could meanwhile straightaway travel to the US and join up with the squad for the final two games set to be played in Florida. The Indian opener has fond memories from there, having scored a century on debut against the same opposition back in 2016.
