However, there was no sign of Covid-19 positive trio of Shikhar Dhawan, Ruturaj Gaikwad or Shreyas Iyer. All 3 again are out of action after testing positive for Covid 3 days before the 1st ODI.
At this stage, team management or BCCI hasn’t released any information about the indisposed trio.

IND vs WI LIVE: Good news for TEAM INDIA, KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal return to training, but Dhawan, Gaikwad still indisposed
Team India welcomed back vice-captain KL Rahul back to the set-up alongside his former Punjab Kings teammate Mayank Agarwal as the team hit the nets ahead of the IND vs WI 2dn ODI in Ahmedabad. Rahul had missed the 1st ODI due to personal reasons which was later revealed to be his sister’s wedding and was under isolation before joining up with the squad.
Meanwhile, Mayank Agarwal was drafted into the team after a COVID-19 outbreak and had to undergo isolation, meaning the Karnataka star also missed out on the 1st ODI on Sunday. Fast bowler Navdeep Saini who was named amongst the reserves, but had to isolate after being in close contact with the support staff who tested positive for COVID-19.

The absence of Shikhar Dhawan, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shreyas Iyer was noticeable, with the trio still in isolation after they tested positive for COVID-19. The training session on Monday was optional, so one can expect the trio to return in time for the IND vs WI 2nd ODI, should they return with negtaive reports.
