IND vs WI 3rd ODI Live: India Tour of West Indies – With West Indies already losing the ongoing ODI series 2-0 to India, WestIndies coach Phil Simmons has found a unique way to motivate the ‘DOWN & OUT’ team. The coach has upped the morale of the team before the 3rd ODI against India by presenting them with legendary pace bowler Michael Holding’s book ‘Why we Kneel – How we rise.’ This inspirational book was published in June 2021, following a powerful and impactful interview by Holding related to racism. IND vs 3rd ODI Live: Michael Holding feels honored by Kishore Shallow’s gesture by gifting Holding’s book – Although racism is the core topic of the book, Holding’s impactful book also covers West Indies history and people of color around the world.
“I’m hoping that all the recipients do sit down, read the book, try and understand everything that’s there. Because I think it’s an educational tool. A lot of us have gone through our lives just coasting along not understanding our history and when I say our history, I mean people of the Caribbean, and of course, people of color around the world. I think this book will open up your eyes, and hopefully, people will come to grips with what the book is trying to do, which is to educate and to make the entire world a better place.”

IND vs WI 3rd ODI Live: WestInddies showing signs of improvement to recover from ODI slump
The Nicholas Pooran-led side have shown a bit of improvement against India in the two ODIs. They could not even cross 200 against Bangladesh in the three ODIs, but against India, they have crossed 300 twice. Ian Bishop appreciated the team’s fighting spirit and lauded the team for showing signs of improvement.
Man that’s got to hurt players and fans. Still work to be done on death bowling and batting tempo. But little improvements happening. Good pitches. Congrats to India on a series win and Axar Patel for a brilliant knock✊🏽.
