Wanindu Hasaranga, who missed out three T20Is due to COVID, will be keen to return to action after four-fer against Australia. The 24-year-old has picked 57 wickets in just 35 T20Is at an economy rate of 6.39 rpo. The legspinner has taken 10 wickets in 6 T20Is against India at 6.2. He is known for his dangerous googly which India players need to be wary of. He will mark his first appearance in India after getting picked by RCB for Rs 10.75 crore
Pathum Nissanka
Sri Lanka batter Pathum Nissanka was the combined top scorer in the recently-concluded 5-match T20I series against Australia. He had slammed 184 runs in 4 outings at an average of 36.8. Thus, he will be keen to perform in the upcoming 3 T20Is.
Kusal Mendis
Sri Lanka batter Kusal Mendis also played a crucial role as he finally guided the vistors to lone victory against Australia. After his unbeaten 69, he will be looking to continue his purple patch against India.
Dushmantha Chameera
Sri Lanka bowler Chameera needs 5 wickets to become the 5th SL bowler to complete 50 wickets in T20Is. Others on the elite list are Lasith Malinga (107), B Mendis- 66, N Kulasekara- 66 and de Silva- 57. He had earlier taken 7 wickets against Australia, most for SL in the T20I series.
